Spillrite's ATEX vacuums are safe to use in cleaning up combustible dust and flammable fluids. Our vacuums are certified under the ATEX directive that the European Union uses as a standard ans also the new UKCA which replace ATEX in the United Kingdom from January 2022. These standards are for equipment approved for use in explosive atmospheres.

Spillrite vacuums are ATEX and UKCA certified for use in National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70: NEC rating Class I, Division 1 (Zone 1 only), Groups A,B,C,D T6 and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G T6.

Spillrite ATEX certified Drum Lid Vacuum for use with flammable fluids and combustible dust. Spillrite vacuums are inherently and unconditionally safe in a constantly hazardous explosive or combustible atmosphere as there are no ignition sources or mechanisms for ignition incorporated within it, under normal operation.
